Configurable Despawn Timer Mod – 1.19.2, 1.18.2 – Setting the Despawn Timing

Configurable Despawn Timer MOD (1.19.2, 1.18.18) allows players to modify the time that an item will cease to exist. Dumped items that remain on the ground after they have been dropped are probably the most irritating aspect of the game. While many people have dropped these items accidentally and wanted to pick them back up right away, it is often too slow to despawn the items and players might accidentally pick them up again. This feature is a strange one that requires co-existence. With Configurable Despawn Timer players can control the exact time that items disappear. This allows them to have greater control over loots and drops. It is recommended that players wait for 7 seconds to allow time for items to disappear so that they can reconsider whether or not the item they wish back.
