The Enhanced Snowman Mod (1.19.2, 1.18.2) allows snowballs to cause very little damage when thrown by snowmen. They can now defend themselves against these evil creatures.
Do you want your army grow? You can then enable the config option that makes snowballs turn mobs into snowmen when they die.
