Fabric API (1.19.3, 1.18.18) is a lightweight mod loader. It’s faster than similar programs such as Minecraft Forge. Although it doesn’t allow for full customization to edit mods according to your preferences, you can still create mods with this program. Modular modding tools make porting much faster and easier.
While the mod loader software can be used to manage mods, the Fabric API is required for most mods. This is the “hook layer”, which contains the most commonly used hooks for mods, so your Minecraft copy will be able to accept them. This file must be placed in the mods folder. This utility cannot be used by itself. It is a library that mods can use to interact with one another.
