How to play:
First, you must join or create a team by clicking “My Team” button in inventory, top-left corner. You can skip this step on singleplayer, as you already are in a team by default.
After that, click on the Quests button, and a GUI will open:
You can change chapter by either clicking on the top-left side tab or pressing Tab key or 1-9 keys.
You can change chapter by either clicking on the top-left side tab or pressing Tab key or 1-9 keys.
Click on a quest to see required tasks to complete it and rewards you can get for it. Some quests can require you to complete other quests before you can view it.
Click on Task button to submit items from your inventory.
Click on Reward button to claim a reward. If the reward name is blue, then it means only one person can claim the reward, otherwise, everyone on the team will get a copy.
Some tasks can’t be completed from the GUI alone (e.g. FE / RF or IC2 energy tasks), so you may need to use a Task Screen block.
Task Screen:
Screens are bound to a single task (but you can switch it by clicking on title/editing settings) and display info in front of it, but it also can be used for automation. In fact, some tasks require screens to be completed (Forge Energy and IC2 Energy tasks).
By default, the screens aren’t craftable, but only obtainable via GUI. As pack creator, you can disable that in quest file settings and add your own recipe with CraftTweaker.
Commands:
To become an editor, type “/ftbquests editing_mode” command (You don’t have to have cheats enabled in singleplayer worlds for this command to work). New buttons will show up in the Quest GUI.
Click on + button on top to add a new chapter.
Right-click anywhere in chapter page to add a new quest.
Right-click on any chapter, quest, task or reward to open context menu from where you can edit objects, delete, move, etc.
To make quest A depend on quest B, select quest B and right-click on quest A and click “Set Selected as Dependency”. To remove it, click “Remove Dependency” instead.
Hold Ctrl+Shift and hover over quest objects to see their ID.
Most objects have Reset Progress and Complete Instantly available for testing purposes, it only affects your team.
Shortcuts:
- Click with middle mouse button on the quest to move it
