Goki Stats Mod 1.12.2/1.7.10 – A Skill Improvement Mod for Minecraft

Mechanics

The main idea behind the stats is to use a formula so that the XP cost, level maximum, and stat bonus can be changed from world to world. All stats will have the following options:

• Death Loss – An option to lose stats on death. Default true.
• Experience Cost – A flat multiplier for the cost to level up. Default 1.0.
• Bonus Rate – A flat multiplier against the formula used to calculate the bonus a stat gives you. Default 1.0.
• Maximum Level – The highest available level for the stat. At -1 this will remove the level limit. Default 2.5.

Compatibility

• Item ID and Metadata support. There is a compatibility helper GUI to enable easy editing of the compatibility list.
• The helper GUI makes changes to the config file of the admin using the GUI, so set the config up how you want it and then replace the server config.
• Looking into using the server config for all changes.

Stats

• Mining – Increases mining speed with mining tools.
• Digging – Increases digging speed with digging tools.
• Chopping – Increases chopping speed with chopping tools.
• Gardening – Increases trimming (Shearing) speed with trimming tools.
• Tough Skin – Decreases damage taken from explosions.

• Feather Fall – Decreases damage from falling, and increase the distance you fall before taking that damage.

• Swordsmanship – Deal more damage with swords.
• Bowmanship – Deal more damage with bows.
• Reaper – Add a chance to instantly kill your target.

  • Players, mobs with over 20.0 maximum health
• Furnace Finesse – Cook faster when using a furnace. Suggested by estradus
• Stealth – Move faster and reap more often when sneaking. Suggested by estradus
