Goldfish Myth Mod 1.8.1, 1.16.5 introduces a new fish to the game: the Goldfish. You have two options: you can either eat the fish caught while fishing or you can throw it into a large body water to grant you good luck for a short time. If you throw several goldfish back, luck III will apply. This means that your Looting will go up to 25% regardless of whether or not you have the Looting Enchantment. If you have the Looting enchantment, your Looting will increase even further.
It will also make your mining easier. All gem mining is possible once you have luck buffs. If you have the fortune enchantment, your chances of getting lucky are even greater.
