Not a lot is known about those trans-dimensional sprites. You can not see them, can’t believe them, but they’ll happily harvest plants if you provide them some food, a little light, and a Sprite Lamp to live in. The sprites don’t seem to have any interest in the plants once harvested and will just drop them on the floor unless a Sprite Hoard is still nearby. If you are quiet, you might notice that the sprites hanging around the hoard should you take a peek inside. If you nourish the sprites with high saturation food, then they’ll harvest more plants in the same time. Also, the more health a food item provides, the more it continues.
Harvest Sprites Mod 1.16.4/1.15.2 is a early game mod that harvests plants available for food. By default, the sprites will crop a 9×9 region centered upon the Sprite Lamp and up to 4 blocks above/below. Sprite Hoards within 5 blocks of the Sprite Lamp will collect harvested items.
Crops are automatically replanted however, the seeds must be initially implanted manually (or through some other planting mechanism).
Sprite Lamps exude a Redstone signal proportional to the quantity of food in its inventory. This can be employed to automate maintaining the Sprite Lamp fueled with vanilla mechanisms.
Note: The sprites do not crop trees, blossoms, tall grass, nether wart, mushrooms, pumpkins, or melons (these sprites are in a different marriage ).
