Improved Backpacks Mod (1.16.5 and 1.12.2) adds simple backpacks that you can upgrade or rename, paint them, place them, and even wear them.

Features:

  • Paint backpacks by using dyes.
  • Upgrade backpacks by using storage upgrades.
  • Rename backpacks by pressing Sneak key + Use key (on air).
  • Place backpack on the floor Sneak key + Use key (on block).
  • Wear backpack in the chestplate slot.
  • Inventory Tweaks support.
