Incapacitated Mod (1.19.2, 1.18.2) alters your death mechanics so that you don’t die immediately if you lose all of your hearts. This mod allows you to choose between life and death. It also gives you the chance to recover. Inspiration from revive systems in many games of different genres. Payday 2 immediately of note

If you suffer enough damage to cause death (and you have no other means of preventing your death, modded and otherwise), you will be rendered incapacitated and remain in a crawling condition. You can either eat an enchanted gold apple to revive yourself or have a friend crouch nearby to help you. It is possible to become incapacitated three times before you die immediately.

Features:

The consumption of a golden apple or enchanted golden apple will reset how many times you can become incapacitated without instantly dying.
Taking additional damage while incapacitated will lead to your death.
When you’re incapacitated, all nearby players are alerted with a chat message
You glow while incapacitated to make it easier for friends to find you. This also means it’s easier for enemy players to find you.
You have 100 seconds to be revived. The time it takes to be revived carries over, and is only reset on a proper death or upon eating at least a golden apple.
If you’re by yourself and have no hope of being revived, you may jump three times to give up.
You are able to crawl around and swim to safety to allow your teammates a safer revive… just be sure not to jump while doing so!
Several config options included to modify some of of the numbers in this list, as well as add to (or remove from) the list of helpful foods.
