Industrial Renewal Mod 1.12.2 is an industrial style mod that aims to make the aesthetic part of your industry much more real.


  1. Powered drill (used to rotate or pick up the blocks of this mod)
  2. Most of the blocks are just cosmetics, like the pillar, brace, column, frame, chimney, external light, roof, and windows.
  3. Catwalks (Include: catwalk, stairs, ladders, gate, and hatch)
  4. Gutter (collects water when it is raining if positioned at the edge of the roof)
  5. Scaffold (Same as IC2 but fancy)
  6. Electric fence (deals damage to the player/mob when touched and is lit, was done after a Jurassic Park marathon)
  7. Industrial Alarm (rings an alarm when powered by Redstone)
  8. Fire extinguisher (as an item extinguish fire and lava in a 3×3 area, Shift-Right click to place as a block can extinguish players on fire)
  9. Medkit (item) Heals player for a small time, First Aid box can store MedKits with the Shift-Right click and heal with Right-click empty hand
  10. Buffer stop rail
  11. Hazard signs (ground and wall)
  12. 8-bit music disc
  13. Disc player (store up to 4 discs)
  14. Rain sensor
  15. Railroad:
    Rails (Same as vanilla but 3d, crossing rail makes the cart whistle)
    Cargo container (Minecart chest with a better looking)
    Steam locomotive (A minecart furnace with a different model for now)

How to install:

  1. Make sure you have already installed Minecraft Forge.
  2. Locate the minecraft application folder.
    • On windows open Run from the start menu, type %appdata% and click Run.
    • On mac open finder, hold down ALT and click Go then Library in the top menu bar. Open the folder Application Support and look for Minecraft.
  3. Place the mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder.
  4. When you launch Minecraft and click the mods button you should now see the mod is installed.
