Packages Mod (1.18.2, 1.7.1) is an opinionated mod for item storage. This mod is similar to “barrel” mods but it doesn’t aim to be your storage solution. The author is trying to solve your storage problems. Each package can hold only eight stacks (512 each) of any item. There are no capacity upgrades, null upgrades or other design features.
This mod was created because of the semantics and cost of shulker boxes. Packages, on the other hand, are very affordable and can be used as a limited shulker box. Packages can be used in the same way as shulker boxes: crush them with pistons and then use a dispenser to place them. You can nest more than 512 items together. You can also measure their contents with a comparator. You can let your imagination run wild. What are you going to create?
This mod is new: Build the Package Crafter from some spare wood bits and create Packages using any combination of blocks or a dye.
