Performant Mod (1.16.5 and 1.15.2) are small mods that aim to improve vanilla performance. You can install it on either the server or client side. It affects the server-side SMP performance, and ssp performance on the client side.

Features:
- Improved tick timing of all entities, while keeping vanilla logic intact. On 1.14/1.15 they need about 50% less tick time.
Below is a short test, using forge tps. It was done by adding about 200 sheeps to a world and monitor tick time differences.
The benefits you’ll see for using this mod vary, depending on how many entities are around.
(Note: The tests were done on 1.14, the 1.12 yields less increase as 1.12 vanilla is faster.)
