Project: Backpacks Mod – 1.17.1, 1.16.5 – More Inventory Space

Project: Backpacks Mod (1.7.1, 1.16.5), introduces regular backpacks to the game. We are aware there are many backpack-oriented mods already on the site, but these Mods tend to focus on giving players as many slots possible, in order to make the experience as enjoyable as possible. Sometimes, however, it can be unhealthy for core gameplay to have too many slots. Players need to work hard for what they earn. Project: Backpacks is the author’s attempt to create a more balanced version these Mods. Players can grant more space to Minecraft than the standard version, but they must earn it by crafting, mining and hunting for materials.
