The Realistic Item Drops Mod (1.19.2, 1.18.2) will change the way you experience Minecraft. Auto-pickup can also be disabled, so players will need to manually pick up items by right clicking on them. You can also have them lay on the ground, instead of hovering in the air. Sprint tossing increases the distance items can travel, allowing players to throw items at each other and catch them mid-air.
This mod makes 3D items flatten on the ground and disables autopickup.
